Downward trend in cryptocurrency market: Bitcoin trades around $80,000

Most of the highest-volume assets in the cryptocurrency market posted daily losses. Bitcoin traded around the $80,000 level, while Ethereum remained in the $2,300 range. Dogecoin was among the biggest losers with a decline exceeding 3%.

Volatility continued in daily trading across cryptocurrency markets, while most of the largest digital assets by market capitalization recorded losses. According to trading volume and market value data, Bitcoin traded at approximately $80,239, marking a daily decline of 1.36%.

Ethereum, the second-largest cryptocurrency by market value, was priced at $2,302. Ethereum recorded a daily loss of 1.85%.

Among stablecoins, TetherUS (USDT) maintained its position at the $1 level, posting a daily gain of 0.03%. USDC traded at $0.99996, down 0.01% on a daily basis.

BITCOIN MAINTAINED MARKET VALUE LEADERSHIP

According to the data, Bitcoin’s total market capitalization stood at $1.60 trillion. Bitcoin’s 24-hour trading volume reached $37.09 billion.

Ethereum’s market capitalization was measured at $277.53 billion, while its daily trading volume was recorded at $21.83 billion.

BNB traded at $644.23, losing 0.76%. The asset’s market capitalization stood at $86.80 billion.

XRP was priced at $1.40. The cryptocurrency posted a daily decline of 2.02%, with its market value calculated at $86.24 billion.

SOLANA AND TRON OUTPERFORMED

Among the leading digital assets, Solana was one of the limited number of cryptocurrencies showing a positive performance in daily trading. Solana rose 0.21% to trade at $88.96. Its market capitalization reached $51.29 billion.

TRON was also among the gainers. TRON’s price stood at $0.3497, while its daily increase was recorded at 1.01%. The cryptocurrency’s market capitalization was calculated at $33.13 billion.

DOGECOIN AMONG BIGGEST LOSERS

Dogecoin fell 3.95% on a daily basis to $0.10849. Dogecoin’s market capitalization was recorded at $18.40 billion.

Cardano was also among the assets showing a downward trend. ADA traded at $0.2642, down 0.68%. Cardano’s market capitalization was measured at $9.53 billion.

Wrapped Bitcoin was priced at $80,007. The asset declined 1.38% daily, bringing its market capitalization to $9.45 billion.
